One of the less known parts of Alien Worlds is Shining. You can combine 4 identical NFT cards and pay some fees, which generates one upgraded card with higher stats. This action is Shining NFTs. New generated NFT has higher stats, new appearance, and new Mint number. The default shine for all NFTs is stoned.
How Shining Works?
Take a look at the image below:
- You can combine 4 identical stone-shine NFT cards to get a Gold NFT card.
- You can combine 4 identical Gold-shine NFT cards to get a Stardust NFT card.
- You can combine 4 identical Stardust-shine NFT cards to get an Antimatter NFT card.
Note that you can’t shine to XDimension level. XDimension Shine was only available in the rare pack sale.
Shining Fee is different for all rarities and shine levels. You can see them all in the image below:
How to Shine NFTs in Alien Worlds?
Go to unbox.alienworlds.io/inventory and login with your WAX Cloud Wallet, select the NFT you want to shine. On the upcoming window, click on the shine button. Select 3 more of that same card, and click on the Start Shining button.
Shining NFT cards in alien Worlds seems not worth doing, especially with this amount of fee. But if you get lucky and get Mint Number 1 for the Shined NFT, it may worth a lot in the future, and you may gain profit from there.
